Our Mission
The Association of Energy Engineers is your source for info and networking in the dynamic fields of energy engineering, energy management, renewables, power generation, energy services, sustainability, and related areas. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development.” Locally, we accomplish this by holding meetings to educate our members, award scholarships to outstanding students and have tours to highlight local companies and universities with outstanding facilities.
Our History
NCAEE is one of the oldest and largest chapters in the history of AEE. In fact, one of our founding members, Walt Johnson, had an AEE national member number of 3! Founded more than 30 years ago, NCAEE was one of the first ever chapters in AEE history.
