Nuclear Reactor Tour at NCSU (April 28th at 2pm)

NCAEE and CWEEL April Meeting

Join us on April 28th with Dr. Colby Fleming for a tour of NCSU PULSTAR nuclear reactor

Nuclear energy is carbon-free, dispatchable, reliable and runs at all times. Right now, 94 nuclear reactors provide nearly 20% of the United States electricity portfolio, nearly half of the country’s carbon-free electricity. Join us on a tour of the PULSTAR reactor, a 1-MW pool-type nuclear research reactor that is administered by the Nuclear Reactor Program and located in Burlington Laboratory on North Carolina State University’s north campus.
