NCAEE Chapter Meeting – HVAC in Space

April Meeting

Join us April 8th with Evan Connell and a presentation on HVAC in Space

The construction industry has contributed its expertise to meet the challenges of Earth-bound built environments for decades now, developing new research, strategies, and standards to design better buildings, vehicles, and equipment.  Today, governments and private companies are constructing an increasing number of vehicles and structures for human life in space, on the Moon, and on Mars.  This presentation will highlight some of the differences between terrestrial HVAC design and off-planet systems (ECLSS), historical designs, and looking to the future of these systems and the challenges we may face as humans become space-faring.
